We were truly honoured to welcome the Hon. Pat Conroy MP, Minister of Defence, to Amiga Engineering. During the visit, we showcased our cutting-edge metal 3D printed ballistic titanium armour, developed in collaboration with RMIT and DSTG. As a small family business, having the Minister of Defence visit our premises was incredibly meaningful and affirming. Despite our size, Amiga Engineering boasts extensive expertise in precision and large-scale machining, fabrication, assembly & fitment, additive manufacturing, and industrial maintenance. Their collaboration can greatly enhance the opportunities for SMEs like Amiga Engineering to win RFQs and EOIs that we diligently work on. While we continuously strive for excellence in every project, the backing and recognition from larger Defence primes can be a game-changer. It ensures that high-quality, innovative solutions from SMEs are not overlooked in favour of lower costs.
